Carbon Politics: A Video Podcast by CSE

Carbon Politics is a monthly podcast hosted by CSE’s Climate Change Programme with a focus on examining the geopolitical and economic trends influencing multilateral climate policy. CSE has been well known for influencing the design of international climate policy - from its landmark paper released in 1991 by Sunita Narain and Anil Agarwal, calling for a decolonisation of carbon budget accounting, or CSE’s commentary on every UN climate meeting since 1992. This series takes forward CSE’s legacy of centering the needs and interests of the Global South, highlighting both challenges and opportunities for developing countries as they navigate this turbulent decade of multiple intersecting crises of development and climate change.
